Wheelchair Assessments

Wheelchair assessments first took place during October 2010, so that the most suitable wheelchairs and wheelchair parts could be ordered for students who really needed them.

As you will see as you scroll down this page, over 40 wheelchairs were purchased in the first order. This work has been ongoing since then, with various wheelchair accessories and wheelchairs ordered on a regular basis. These have been paid for by the generous donations given and various fundraising projects that have taken place so far.

This work is ongoing subject to funds available. So far the assessments have been successful, as many students have been provided with improved chairs which meet their individual needs. Thank you so much to those who have helped to improve the lives of the students so far, and we aim to continue this work to improve the futures of many more of the disadvantaged yet inspiring students.
